Over the years she’s provided us with some of the most influential music and fashion trends, even the controversies that surround have been iconic - and let’s not forget that she’s been considered a sex symbol throughout her decades long career. After breaking through the male-dominated music industry at the beginning of the 1980s it didn’t take long for Madonna’s influence to spread and soon after the release of her first full-length album in 1983, her distinct sense of fashion including lace fingerless gloves, fishnet tights, and loud eye make-up looks was being copied by girls everywhere. The release of her second album ‘Like A Virgin’ went platinum within a month and it's safe to say that the rest is history.
